In the workshop, participants will:

• Learn to surface and prioritize the core message
• Grab attention by using ‘curiosity gaps’
• Add unexpectedness via “crystallizing” and “breaking” a schema
• Make data and statistics sticky using the human-scale principle
• Craft stickier emails
• Translate abstractions into concrete ideas
• Overcome the ‘Curse of Knowledge’ that dooms messages
• Identify the most common traps that plague communicators

Fee

The fee for the half-day workshop is $455 per person. This fee includes lunch and a signed copy of all three of the Heath Brothers’ books: Made to Stick, Switch, and Decisive.

Groups of 5 or more, registering together, will receive a 20% discount.

The fee for full-time students is $195. Students must provide the phone number of a school official who can verify their full-time status.

There are no other discounts.

Registration

Credit card payment is preferred. If you need to send a check as payment, email Christy@heathbrothers.com for further instructions.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your registration, you must email Christy@heathbrothers.com. If your cancellation is received before Noon Eastern Time on Friday, December 5, you will receive a refund less a $25 processing fee. Cancellations after that date/time, or no-shows, will receive no money back. You may transfer your registration to someone else with advance notice. (Students can only transfer their registrations to other full-time students.)

Timing

Coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch will be served onsite. Let us know if you have any special dietary needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
